Crime Stoppers succeeds through strong partnerships with the police, the media and the community.

Without the support of the public, Crime Stoppers cannot exist. In 2014, we attended over 25 local events throughout the Lower Mainland and successfully launched our "See Something, Say Something." school safety program.

In order to continue promoting and sharing the Crime Stoppers message in the Metro Vancouver area, we need help.

If you are passionate about your community and dedicated to creating a safer place to live and work, WE NEED YOU!

Current university or college students with a Criminology-related major or minor are needed to assist with our expanding school safety program throughout the school year.

Members of the general public who are passionate about the safety of their local community and are eager to spread the Crime Stoppers message at local events throughout the year are also needed.

Volunteer Requirements:

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Ability to maintain a security clearance
  • Completion of high school
  • Read and write english (knowledge of another language would be an asset)
  • Able to make a 12-month commitment
  • Able to attend an orientation/training session
  • Able to provide two references

We thank you for your interest in Metro Vancouver Crime Stoppers. Selected applicants will be contacted via email or phone and provided with further details.
